Tuscan Village and Eco Yoga Retreat

Tadasana Yoga Retreats

28th June - 2nd July

2nd July- 6th July

Return to nature this year on our eco-retreat in the heart of Italy. Vibrant green hills, wild plants and trees hold an abundance of energy, inspiring you to breathe, relax and reconnect with the rhythms of your body and the earth. We offer Hatha Yoga classes for all abilities, delicious vegan home-cooked food and the opportunity to live in a rural Tuscan community, Montagna.

The accommodation is spread throughout the small village. We will practise Yoga outside (where possible) in a variety of locations, meeting the sun as it rises and falls each day. Sometimes this will require a 15-20min walk (lifts can be arranged). One meditation/ relaxation will be held high up on a hill and involves a 20 minute walk uphill on a rocky path, leading to stunning panoramic views. Be mindful of the uneven ground, possibility of insects and movement of the sun. This is all part of being fully immersed in nature, experiencing the essence of Yoga; to unite.

Food

Vegan and home-cooked. We will share meals together in a variety of places around the village, each offering a different viewpoint of the Tuscan scenery.

Further Information

There is free time between the yoga and meals for you to enjoy in anyway you feel.  You may want to explore the nearby woods, hills or river (ponds and waterfalls). Relaxing in the garden, reading and chatting with each other or the neighbours might also appeal (and is an ideal opportunity to practice your Italian!). We will suggest some other activities TBC nearer to the date and weather dependent, but here are a few examples:

- Saturday market in Sansepolcro (nearest town with museum).
- Take the bus (or own car) to Anghiari, a beautiful hilltop medieval town, where you can have lunch/ice-cream, or visit a vineyard.
- Book a massage or spa treatment in the village
- Swimming in the natural pools.
