When you subscribe to Yogi Wonderland you do this through MailChimp (owned by the limited company The Rocket Science Group). It asks for your name and email address and these details are stored on the database. Emails may also be sent manually and directly from alice@yogiwonderland.com.

 

If you attend a workshop, event, retreat or book a private class you will be required to fill out a waiver form for insurance purposes. On this form it is requested that you write down name, number, email and any relevant injuries. Details of who to contact in case of an emergency are also recorded. This is in the legitimate interest of a yoga teacher to be aware of their students needs and modify practices as there are many contraindications in Yoga. Being aware of an injury or condition will also inform how a teacher physically adjusts their student.

If you have actively opted-in your data is retained for future classes, events and marketing purposes. You have the option to unsubscribe at any time or update your preferences through MailChimp.

 

None of your information is shared with a third party without your consent. You have the right to contact ICO with any problems regarding data handling with Yogi Wonderland.

 

All information is stored in a private, locked file or securely through MailChimp. You can read their private policy here.
